We had a relaxing time at the Goodwood Park Hotel. the hotel felt fairly clean and luxurious and we loved it. the central location was very convenient, close to shopping areas. the outstanding service, including a fast check-in, was a bonus. Plus, parking was available on-site.

We ate at a good restaurant with surly staff and ambience of a cheap canteen. Our a handy kitchenette included a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. Perfect location in general, friendly efficient and especially helpful staff especially from concierge and call service...

The staff was very caring and patient, the breakfast offered was large with good choice of food. The room was well-equipped and beautifully decorated, with safe and nice views of the garden.

The hotel's location is fantastic, conveniently situated near the MRT station, a variety of dining options, and popular shopping centers like The Shoppes and Far East Plaza. The Orchard district is definitely worth exploring.- The service at this hotel is impeccable.

Size of room was perfect since a few friends and I were there for girls' night out. The technicians were nice to help us fix our wii console to our TV set. Location of hotel was perfect for shopping and food.
Parklane suite is about 5 - 10 minutes walk away from the main lobby. It also means that the facilities such as the swimming pool is rather far from us. As this is a 5* hotel (if I'm not wrong), we were quite surprised to see that the TV in the room were old, and the plasma TV was small (probably 20" max?) Strangely, hotel does not provide ice cubes for free. 1st bucket of ice is complimentary, after which they'll start charging at SGD5. Also, they don't provide tooth brushes/slippers/tooth paste. Parklane suite is perfect for a get-together, but definitely not for honey-mooners.

Stylish with very good service. Helpful, polite and considerate staff.
The rather silly price for wireless S$ 30 plus for 24 hours!! I think it should be a part of the normal service provision.

The breakfast here was so good, they had a bit of everything - Asian dishes, cornflakes, and a nice selection of fruits. Nothing to complain about, 👌.

Good city location, helpful staff, good value, free internet in room, nice having bath as well as shower in room.
bit of shortage of sunbeds around pools, breakfast an expensive extra.

The proximity to Orchard Road.
The smell of mould is quite intense and makes it harder to breathe when you are asthmatic. Food, drinks, internet- everything is way too expensive, especially when you can eat excellent food in any of the shopping plazas....

Enjoyed the pool outside our ground floor room - it felt almost private, as few people used it. Loved the service.
With free wifi for guests in virtually every hotel now, Goodwood Park does not offer this service. If you want it, you pay for it.

History of the hotel is great; location is convenient for Orchard area, cabs are cheap and easy to catch (easy comparing to the Orchard road itself), hotel has a lot of space inside and outside of the rooms, swimming pools are nice and clean, its not crowded/
Service is very slow, it takes reception up to an hour to repair hair dryer or to bring the suitcases up/down. Pool bars are expensive but not impressive, no freshly squeezed juices, old decorations and old room furniture (wrong hotel for people who don't like old hotels), breakfast not worth it. It is definitely not a 5* hotel by European standards, agreed by a lot of people who stayed in the hotel.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
